Welcome to my site!
I am a passionate social scientist currently exploring the sense of belonging on the University of Richmond's campus. My research journey has taken me from Richmond, Virginia to the rural Himalayan region of Mustang, Nepal, where I have delved into the intricate dynamics of belonging in diverse settings. Additionally, my work extends to Bolivia, where I investigate women's networks of assistance, highlighting the strength and resilience of interpersonal support systems.
Central to my research is a profound interest in how we connect, support, and care for one another. I am equally fascinated by the potential of artificial intelligence to revolutionize the way we approach mundane and uninteresting tasks in business. Unlike the prevalent trend of using AI for art and writing, I advocate for leveraging current AI technologies to handle unenjoyable tasks such as answering emails and fixing spreadsheets. By doing so, we can free up more time to pursue our passions, whether in art or any other endeavor, ultimately enhancing our well-being.
